Koos compares the rules of composition to the law and the panoramic frame to grace, and explains why he never cropped or retouched a single photograph. He talks about scouting with a separate viewfinder and a compass, waiting twelve days for one picture, and the collector who unrolled a Baobab Duo print and found a thin white line in the sky.
