ABOUT THE AFRICAN MOOD PRINT COLLECTION by Martin Osner
For so many people, living in a city offers a sense of security and well being, but to many, the rural countryside and farmlands of South Africa is home.
With my photography, I spend a lot of time in the country, and one quickly notices how different the people are that live out in farmlands and less travelled places. There is a relaxed mood compared to that which we experience in the city, one of joy and freedom.
I want to convey the experience this African culture through this portfolio of fine art prints. I want people to imagine the smells of the outdoors, wood burning on an open flame and the freshness of the morning air combined with the laughter of children as they run free in a giant playground with their laughter travelling for miles down the valley.
Welcome to Africa, a place that gets under your skin with memories and experiences that last a lifetime.
