Biography
Kim Le Roux boldly launched her career in
photography by purchasing a commercial
photography studio in October 2008, shortly
after graduating from the National College
of Photography. However, her real passion
within photography lies in the fine art
realm. This is evident in her images which
are, in turns, lyrical, peaceful and
thought-provoking.
Artist Statement
My first love is darkroom work: lith
printing, nitro transfers, polaroid lifts,
the list goes on... The process of
transforming a simple image into something
magical captivates. But at the same time I
also have a great love for all things
technical, therefore I find
